Home Planet excels at locating artificial satellites, comets, and asteroids. It proposes that the equivalence of mass and energy and differs from Newtonian physics only when speeds approach that of light. First space shuttle: Columbia, launched April 12, 1981. Meteor showers – Period of meteor activity that occurs when Earth collides with many meteoroids; an individual shower happens at the same time each year and has all its meteors appearing to radiate from a common point. So it’s good that 2016 did not break that record.

In this case there’s no harm done, but it’s not hard to imagine a case where a forged image showing something damaging to someone’s reputation gets treated as real and spreads like wildfire. Planetary moons such as Titan aren't shown. Some events which are not specifically astronomical in nature are listed to give historical perspective as to what was happening in those times. It consists of 95% carbon dioxide (CO2), 3% nitrogen, and 1.6% argon (there is no oxygen). In 1971 the Mariner 9 space probe discovered a huge canyon, Valles Marineris.
